Why We Built This Site
Access in Utah depends on who created the record. Piute County sheriff staff hold sheriff incident and arrest material, but Piute County has no jail, so a receiving jail keeps the separate booking file. Utah Courts Xchange distributes public district and justice case information. The Bureau of Criminal Identification provides fingerprint-based access to a person's own Utah history, while the Utah Department of Corrections handles state custody, supervision, and the Utah Sex and Kidnap Offender Registry. This site brings the official routes, request steps, contact details, and known fees into one practical reference.

Only the office that maintains a record, such as the Piute County sheriff, the court clerk, or Utah BCI, can issue an official or certified copy. This site can identify the route, but it cannot supply the document.
